Kingfisher Airlines History
A simply dry report of Kingfisher Airlines history would read as,
"Kingfisher airline started operations on 9 May 2005, following the dry lease of four new Airbus A320-200 aircraft. Its first flight was from Mumbai to Delhi. Kingfisher was the first Indian airline to have in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems on every seat even on domestic flights. On 10 November 2009, Flight 4124, operated by ATR 72-212A VT-KAC skidded off the runway after landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. The aircraft suffered substantial damage but all 46 passengers and crew escaped unharmed. On 8 October 2010, the airline suffered a bird hit during take off but managed to land safely on one engine."
