Jet Airways launches second flight from Dubai to New Delhi.

An airline spokesperson said; "this would complement the night flight presently operating between Delhi and Dubai."

Three smugglers were apprehended by security officials in Delhi before they boarded a Jet Airways flight to Dubai. One of the smugglers had a rare live Loris monkey hidden in his underwear. A second monkey was rescued from a dustbin. The smugglers had abandoned it there unable to carry it.

Flights prices on the Delhi-Dubai route are set to increase, following an increase in Delhi Airport taxes. The airport charges went up 345% and user development fee is also to be levied on all passengers travelling the route. The new fares come into effect as from 15 May and it is not sure how the increase will affect travellers. The increase could lead to airlines cutting back their Delhi operations.
