Jakarta (Indonesia) accommodation
When visiting Jakarta, we recommend staying at the Mandarin Oriental. It is located within walking distance of the Plaza Indonesia and other major shopping centres. The city centre can be reached by car in around 10 minutes. The rooms are well maintained and spacious and if you enjoy a beautiful view, ask for a room on a higher floor overlooking the Selamat Datang Monument (Welcome Monument). The hotel also offers a swimming pool and a small gym. However, it is the personal touches that make the Mandarin Oriental stand out. The road on which the hotel is located is closed off to all vehicles on Sundays, making it safe and easy to walk around.
